Of the many townships in Van Buren County, Covert stands out for being one of the most ethnically diverse areas of the country. The spirit that this community has embodied since its inception is the ideal example of supporting one another to build a safe space for everyone.
That’s why, as someone who lives in a neighboring city, I am honored to be able to help families and households with their home appliance repairs and maintenance.

Common Appliance Hazards
Appliances are an essential part of our daily lives, but they can also pose safety hazards if not properly maintained or repaired. I understand the potential risks associated with household appliances.
- Dryer Lint Buildup: Dryer lint is highly flammable and can lead to house fires if not removed properly. I prioritize regular maintenance to prevent lint buildup. During dryer repairs, I can inspect and clean lint traps and the internals of your dryer, significantly reducing the risk of fire hazards. Please note that I do not offer vent cleaning services for the ductwork in your home and recommend using only a service provider specifically insured for such jobs.
- Gas Leaks in Stoves: Gas leaks from stoves can pose significant safety risks. To safeguard your household, I thoroughly examine gas connections and components during stove repairs.
- Water Damage Prevention: Preventing water damage is a prime concern when it comes to washing machines and dishwashers. Leaks or malfunctions in these appliances can lead to extensive flooding and costly water damage. To prevent further damage, I can identify and seal leaks during the repair work, effectively mitigating potential water-related disasters.
- Food Safety: Stoves and refrigerators play pivotal roles in food safety. An unreliable stove can result in undercooked or overcooked meals, while a malfunctioning refrigerator can jeopardize the freshness and safety of your food. I prioritize thorough repairs, ensuring that your cooking appliances and refrigerators meet the highest standards of food safety. Please read my Refrigerator Policy before booking a refrigerator repair.
What I do and don't do: I perform no service that requires any alteration to your home. My repair starts and stops at the appliance. Plumbing, electrical, gas lines and valves, carpentry and ducting at the service location are not services I provide.
